Sammy Hagar Opens Island-Themed Pool “Oasis” at Palms Casino Resort

Sammy Hagar Opens Island-Themed Pool “Oasis” at Palms Casino Resort

Last Friday, Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar celebrated the opening of the new tropical-themed “oasis”: Sammy’s Island at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Sammy’s Island is a sunny retreat that combines live music, poolside relaxation, and food and drink. The area includes two pools, multiple bars, cabanas, and a stage for live entertainment.

The Palms Pool has been completely redesigned, inspired by the Red Rocker himself (and his signature baja beach vibe). Even the design choices found in the four luxury Red Rocker bungalows draw from Hager’s brand.

The new offering channels the food, drink, and spirit of a tropical getaway. Guests can grab a bite at the island’s poolside restaurant, sip on cocktails at the Tiki bar and Tequilleria, or lounge in one of the 39 cabanas.

The Sammy’s Island menu is full of vibrant, summer flavors. Fittingly, the Tiki bar offers Hagar’s award-winning low-ABV spirits, Beach Bar Rum and Sammy’s Beach Bar canned cocktails.

“I gotta pinch myself! I’ve been dreaming about this island concept for many years now,” said Hagar. “The fabulous Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas the perfect fit for this little oasis.”
