Travel advisors booking with G Adventures can earn an additional 2 percent commission this month. It’s part of the tour operator’s agent incentive campaign, G-Normous.

For the month of February, agents registered in Sherpa will receive an extra 2 percent commission when they quote promo code GNORMOUS on every new tour or cruise booking made.

In addition to the extra commission, G Adventures will be giving away a multitude of cash and prizes, $100,000 in total, now through Apr. 30. At the end of the four-month campaign, top-selling agents in the U.S. and Canada will be entered to win the $5,000 jackpot, and two runners-up will receive $2,000 each.

Other incentives include a chance to win $2,500 for every private group booking of eight or more clients. The prize will be awarded to the North American agent with the highest number of private group bookings during the incentive period. To qualify, agents must make at least two private group bookings.

There will also be a monthly drawing of $250 for first-time booking agents, as well as random drawings for 25 prizes, including:

  • Three G Adventures tours, up to $2,400 in value, for the winner and a friend
  • Five G Adventures tours, up to a value of $1,200, for land/tour only
  • Seven $750 cash prizes
  • Seven $500 cash prizes

Agents will receive one ballot for every client booked on a G Adventures tour and two ballots for every client booked on a National Geographic Journeys with G Adventures trip. One ballot will be selected for prize drawings each week.

In March, G-Normous agents’ clients can save 15 percent off select Active style tours (promo code 18GA015ACT03); and in April, their clients can save 10 percent off select Classic style tours (promo code 18GA010CLA01).

Since G-Normous was first introduced in 2014, G Adventures has awarded $375,000 in cash and prizes to participating agents, gaining more than 9,000 new U.S. Sherpa accounts with G Adventures. Travel agents who already have a Sherpa account will automatically be registered for G-Normous. For those who don’t can sign up here.
