As part of its ongoing “More to Travel” improvement initiative, Air Canada today unveiled some major upgrades to its onboard food and beverage options and in-flight entertainment.

Starting immediately, Air Canada’s food and beverage menu will now include Earth’s Own oat milk, a Canadian non-dairy milk alternative, a move that will mark a first for a Canadian carrier. It will also add some new alcohol options, including Blue Moon Belgian White and Hop Valley IPA craft beers and Vizzy Strawberry Orange Mimosa Hard Seltzer.

For those flying Signature Class on International Flights, Air Canada will now offer Rosé from Provence, France, and Aperol Spritz.

At the same time, Air Canada is upgrading its entertainment offerings, mainly adding new family content with a new suite of shows and movies through a partnership with Mattel. The new offerings include Hot Wheels in the City, Thomas and Friends, and more.

“Air Canada is proud to be the only Canadian airline offering exclusive Mattel favorites like Hot Wheels in the City, Thomas and Friends: Learning with Thomas, as well as episodes of Barbie’s vlog—which comes hot on the heels of the most anticipated movie release of the summer,” said John Moody, Managing Director of Product Design at Air Canada.

“At the height of family vacation season, parents and kids can enjoy their flight with an unparalleled range of inflight entertainment options including some of the most popular and well-loved kids’ shows.”

As part of that “More to Travel” program, Air Canada this summer has already opened three new airport lounges—a new Maple Leaf Lounge at San Francisco International Airport (SFO), a new Aspire Air Canada Café at the Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ), and a new lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) Terminal A within the new United Club.
