As it Boosts Flights From Canada, Turkish Airlines Returns as RBC Canadian Open Sponsor

As it Boosts Flights From Canada, Turkish Airlines Returns as RBC Canadian Open Sponsor

Turkish Airlines is sponsoring the RBC Canadian Open for a second year.

Following a successful inaugural year, Turkish Airlines is returning as an official airline sponsor of the 2026 RBC Canadian Open golf tournament, taking place June 10–14 at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley. The sponsorship will highlight the airline’s significant expansion of its Canadian operations.

Turkish Airlines has added extra flights to Istanbul this year from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) in July 2026. The expansion means the fast-growing carrier has up to 7 weekly flights from YYZ and 4 weekly flights from both YVR and YUL.

Reinforcing Turkish Airlines’ dedication to high-performance sport at Canada’s only PGA tournament, the 2026 partnership introduces a newly expanded premium Turkish Airlines Lounge, featuring a larger, climate-controlled space and an enhanced covered viewing area overlooking the 18th green, designed to deliver an elevated guest experience.

Luxury on the Green: The Turkish Airlines Lounge

The centrepiece of this year’s sponsorship is the newly designed and expanded Turkish Airlines Lounge. Located at the clubhouse with increased square footage, the lounge offers unparalleled views of the game. Guests will experience Turkish hospitality, featuring the following:

Expanded Lounge: 2,000 square feet of custom-built lounge space with glass walls for 360 degrees of green gazing.

Turkish Coffee & Tea Station: Traditional tea and coffee service providing a traditional Turkish pick-me-up between rounds.

Wellness & Relaxation: On-site professional shoulder massages to keep fans refreshed and ready for the action, a nod to the Turkish Airlines Business Class lounge in Istanbul airport.

Guests at the RBC Canadian Open will enjoy some Turkish delights.

Premium Catering: A curated menu of Breakfast, Lunch, Snack and Dessert options will be served.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Turkish Airlines Chief Commercial Officer Harun Baştürk stated:

“Our return to the RBC Canadian Open is a reflection of our long-term commitment to Canada and to the sports communities that unite people across borders. Turkish Airlines connects over 130 countries, and we bring that same global spirit to every partnership we enter. We are glad to stand beside one of golf’s most storied national Opens and look forward to another unforgettable week.”
