Delta Air Lines Adds First-Ever Nonstop LAX-Manila Service

Delta Air Lines is expanding out of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with the launch of its first-ever nonstop service to Manila (MNL).

The service will debut on March 28, 2027 and will make Delta the only U.S. carrier offering a direct link between Los Angeles and the Philippine capital. The service will initially operate three times weekly before ramping up to daily flights on June 7, 2027.

The new route also leverages Delta’s transpacific joint venture with Korean Air, which currently funnels passengers to the Philippines via Seoul Incheon (ICN). The nonstop LAX service will complement those existing routing options.

Delta will fly the service on its flagship Airbus A350-900 aircraft, which includes four cabin experiences: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin. SkyMiles members on the flight will also have access to the airline’s fast, free Wi-Fi infrastructure, which is slated to roll out on transpacific routes by this fall.

The announcement comes as Delta continues to solidify its positioning as a leading global carrier at LAX, where it operates more than 160 peak-day departures to over 50 destinations. Over the past year, Delta has aggressively built out its Asia-Pacific network from the hub, adding or returning routes to Hong Kong, Melbourne, and Shanghai.
