Explora Journeys has unveiled its new Sky & Sea fare, which aims to make booking a cruise an even more seamless and smooth experience for travelers.

Explora Journeys aims to be a luxury hotel experice on the sea. The elevated ocean travel brand, owned by MSC Group, launched its first ship, Explora I, in 2023. The cruise line currently has two vessels active in its fleet, with four more scheduled for delivery over the next three years.

With the new Sky & Sea fare, guests from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Netherlands, Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and Australia can book flight and hotel along with their cruise experience. Explora Journeys has access to flights for key routes to major airports in cities where the ships embark and disembark.

The Sky & Sea fare allows for customization such as upgrades or alternative domestic airports, subject to availability and a potential supplement. Flight bookings can be combined with existing offers such as Explora Early Booking Benefit, Extended Journeys benefits, and exclusive Explora Club Member privileges.

In addition to providing international flights, the new fare also combines hotel stays when required, private transfers from airport to hotel and port, and 24/7 dedicated guest support.

The new fare category is just the latest move by the luxuy cruise line to make its offerings more inclusive. Earlier this month, Explora Journeys also unveiled new pre- and post-cruise pacakges for Alaska and Canada, set for when the cruise line enters the Alaskan market in 2027.

Anna Nash, president of Explora Journeys, said the new tours were “designed to complement and elevate the overall Explora Journeys experience – seamlessly blending land and sea into one continuous, meaningful narrative.”
