Internova Travel Group has appointed Brian Chapin as its new vice president of air strategy and partner relations.

Chapin brings more than 35 years of experience in airline partnerships, distribution strategy, and commercial growth to the role. He most recently served as vice president, global flights for Scenic Group, and also held past leadership positions at Ensemble Travel Group, Virtuoso, American Airlines, and Sabre.

At Internova, Chapin will lead the company’s air strategy by strengthening its relationships with airline, global distribution system (GDS), and technology partners. He will report to Peter Vlitas, Internova’s executive vice president of partner relations.

“Brian’s experience across airlines, travel technology and supplier partnerships makes him an excellent addition to our team,” Vlitas said. “His strategic perspective and industry relationships will strengthen our air strategy and help us continue delivering exceptional value to our travel advisors and airline partners.”

“From my first days at Internova, I’ve been incredibly impressed by the depth of knowledge, collaboration and talent across the organization,” Chapin said. “It’s immediately clear why so many advisors choose to be part of Internova’s family of brands. The culture of respect, teamwork and commitment to supporting both our advisors and our partners is truly exceptional. I’m excited to join Peter and this outstanding team, and I look forward to strengthening our airline partnerships, advancing our air strategy and helping create even greater value for our advisors, partners and clients.”
