Hyatt Expands Vivid Brand with Debut of Hyatt Vivid Cancun

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the debut of Hyatt Vivid Cancun, marking the transformation of the former Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort into the newest adults-only, all-inclusive resort to join the Hyatt Vivid portfolio.

Located within the Puerta del Mar community overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Puerto Cancun marina, the 416-room oceanfront resort promises a fresh take on the all-inclusive experience, designed for today’s experience-driven travellers seeking flexibility, meaningful connection and moments of discovery.

As part of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection, Hyatt Vivid Cancun reflects the continued evolution of the Hyatt Vivid brand, which the company describes as “where vibrant energy meets restorative wellbeing in an atmosphere that feels approachable and authentically connected to the destination.”

“The Hyatt Vivid brand was created for travellers who want an all-inclusive experience that feels more flexible, more locally connected and more reflective of how they travel today,” said Ana Tomicevic, VP of Global Brand for Hyatt Inclusive Collection.

“Hyatt Vivid Cancun builds on that vision by blending destination-inspired experiences, effortless hospitality and a unique location that encourage guests to be fully present. We’re thrilled to build on the momentum of the Hyatt Vivid brand with this transition in Cancun.”

A Casual, Modern, All-Inclusive

Created for travellers who value experiences over itineraries, Hyatt Vivid Cancun offers a relaxed, adults-only escape where guests can seamlessly move between vibrant social spaces and quieter moments of restoration.

Every one of the resort’s 416 accommodations features ocean views. Guests seeking an elevated stay can reserve accommodations within the Vantage Club, featuring premium room categories, a private lounge, dedicated concierge service, exclusive dining experiences and enhanced amenities.

Contemporary Cuisine

Seven distinctive restaurants and seven bars invite guests to discover global flavours on their own time, with no reservations required — from Mediterranean fusion cuisine at Mediterráneo and contemporary Pan-Asian dishes at Akari, to handcrafted Italian favourites at Aglio, fresh international offerings at La Plaza, artisan coffee at Coco Café and premium dining at Vista Prime.

The resort features a collection of lounges and bars, including Amber Beach Bar, Cobalt, the rooftop Bar 360°, and The Bloom Bar.

Wellness, Recreation, and Events

Hyatt Vivid Cancun invites guests to embrace wellbeing on their own terms. At the heart of the experience is The Spa, at Hyatt Vivid Cancun, an ocean-view sanctuary offering hydrotherapy, restorative massages, personalized facials, and locally inspired treatments.

Guests looking to stay active can rotate between three distinct pools, including the Sky Pool, Relax Pool, and Vivid Pool, or challenge friends to a game of pickleball or padel, catch a wave in one of two surf pools. Golfers can tee off with preferred access to the adjacent Tom Weiskopf-designed 18-hole golf course.

Flexible Spaces for Meetings, Weddings and Celebrations

With 12,800 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space – including a ballroom, five meeting rooms, and five breakout rooms – Hyatt Vivid Cancun offers a setting where celebrations unfold against the backdrop of the Caribbean Sea.

The resort also features two distinctive oceanfront palapas. The Ocean Deck Palapa, extending over the Caribbean Sea, accommodates up to 120 guests and provides a spectacular setting for ceremonies, cocktail receptions, and private events. For larger gatherings, the new The Vivid Ocean Front Palapa welcomes up to 300 guests, offering a stunning beachfront venue ideal for weddings, gala dinners, and large-scale celebrations.

Hyatt Vivid Cancun offers guests the best of both worlds, a tranquil oceanfront setting just minutes from Cancun’s Hotel Zone and Cancun International Airport and easy access to Puerto Cancun Shopping Center, blending convenience with local discovery.

The resort offers experiences inspired by local culture, including cooking and cocktail classes, tequila tastings, cacao rituals, arts and crafts with pottery, bracelet and dream catcher and macrame making.

All-Inclusive, All Included

True to the Hyatt Vivid brand promise of flexibility over formality, every stay at Hyatt Vivid Cancun includes limitless access to gourmet a la carte dining with no reservations required, 24-hour dining options, unlimited international and domestic top-shelf spirits, and unlimited natural fruit juices and soft drinks.

Guests also enjoy a fully stocked in-room mini-bar, daily housekeeping, complimentary Wi-Fi, concierge service, and waitstaff service at the pools and beach.
