St. Kitts Puts Focus on Wellness for 2026-2027 Winter Season

by Bruce Parkinson  October 29, 2026
St. Kitts Puts Focus on Wellness for 2026-2027 Winter Season

As travellers increasingly seek meaningful ways to recharge, St. Kitts says it offers an inviting blend of natural beauty, cultural connection and mindful experiences in a Caribbean setting.

‘Choose Your Moment’ is a wellness-focused campaign that comes as the St. Kitts Tourism Authority anticipates a strong winter season, supported by expanded seasonal air access, strengthened partnerships and continued tourism investment

To reinforce the destination’s commitment to the Canadian market, the Honourable Marsha T. Henderson, Minister of Tourism, recently visited Toronto alongside Melnecia Marshall, Deputy CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, for a series of strategic engagements with travel advisors, industry partners and the St. Kitts diaspora.

The visit included a keynote address at the inaugural Caribbean Tourism Investment Forum, where the Minister shared perspectives on tourism development and stronger partnerships between Canada and the Caribbean, as well as a diaspora gathering and a dedicated travel advisor lunch prepared by Kittitian chef, Adam Pereira.

Together, these engagements highlighted the destination’s priorities for the season ahead, strengthened valuable relationships and brought the St. Kitts wellness story to the forefront as Canadian advisors begin planning their clients’ winter escapes.

“Canada remains a key market for St. Kitts and we’re strengthening our presence by engaging with advisors, the travel industry and diaspora communities,” said the Hon. Minister.

“With enhanced air access and distinctive experiences that invite visitors to reset in St. Kitts, we’re showcasing the best of our authentic, welcoming and culturally rich destination, inspiring Canadians to discover us and offering travel advisors renewed reasons to sell St. Kitts this winter and year-round.”

During the visit, Minister Henderson shared a number of important updates for travel advisors:

AIR CANADA RETURNS EARLIER: Strengthening Canadian winter access to the destination, Air Canada will restart its seasonal service between Toronto and St. Kitts a full two weeks earlier this year, beginning direct service on October 31, 2026, and continuing every Saturday through to April 24, 2027. Air Canada will offer a more elevated travel experience this year by transitioning to the modern Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft as part of their comprehensive fleet upgrade.

CRUISE TOURISM CONTINUES TO EVOLVE: St. Kitts recently surpassed the one-million cruise passenger milestone for the first time since the pandemic, welcoming 1,002,282 passengers. The achievement reflects the continued importance of cruise tourism to the destination and signals an important next phase of enhancing the visitor experience and positioning the destination for continued growth.

DIASPORA INVITED TO ‘JET HOME:’ Calling on Kittitians living in Canada and heading home for Christmas, the new ‘SKN Jet Home’ challenge is running through November 30, 2026. The competition will reward the biggest diaspora group arriving on a single flight with a VIP airport welcome and a host of exclusive experiences at Sugar Mas, the island’s famous Christmas carnival. Kittitians in Canada can get involved and learn more by becoming a Diaspora Member and following the SKN Jet Home Challenge and We Limin’ official social media channels on Instagramand Facebook.
