Club Med has officially unveiled the new look of its flagship North America resort, Club Med Punta Cana, now celebrating its grand reopening.
Over the last few years, Club Med has been transforming the iconic all-inclusive resort. The Dominican Republic property underwent significant expansion in 2023 and 2024, adding new family rooms, the new Hispaniola restaurant, a wedding venue, a Cing Mondes Spa, and Club Med’s largest waterpark.
Club Med announced further renovations on the Punta Cana property back in April. Building off of the recent overhaul, the refurbishments include transformed social spaces and refreshed accommodations and dining venues.
Club Med Punta Cana’s entrance is now a 360-degree, open-air panoramic welcome area called the Buena Vista Lounge. Known as the “heartbeat of the resort,” the public area features a bohemian chic design with a view of the ocean.

The refurbishment updated the Costa Del Coco, deluxe rooms (pictured above). Channeling the spirit and natural beauty of the Caribbean, these accommodations feature a private balcony and a luxurious spa-like bathroom with a rain shower.
On the dining side, Club Med has reimagined its main dining concept: El Mundo Food Club continues the airy bohemian aesthetic, while offering a fusion of global flavors. The dining venue includes both indoor and outdoor seating.

The poolside bar Joia Bar has also been transformed. Backing onto the main resort pool, this public space has been designed as a relaxing, cozy spot for daytime lounging or evening socializing.
Finally, Club Med Punta Cana now has The Coffee Shop, a cafe offering an assortment of coffees, teas, pastries, snacks, and other treats.

Travel advisors can learn more about Club Med Punta Cana via the revamped Club Med University education and rewards platform. Earlier this week, Club Med relaunched the travel advisor resource, reaffirming its commitment to the trade.
