Club Med Punta Cana Renovations to Be Complete by September

Club Med Punta Cana is undergoing a resort-wide transformation that will be completed by September.

Recent renovations, which were unveiled in 2023 and 2024, gave the property new family rooms, the new Hispaniola restaurant, a wedding venue, a Cing Mondes Spa, and Club Med’s largest waterpark.

Now, the Dominican Republic resort is building on those additions in 2025. The major refurbishment will transform its public spaces and refresh its accommodations and dining venues. It’s all set to be completed this fall, and bookings for the updated rooms are now open for stays starting in September.

When unveiled, Club Med Punta Cana will have a 360-degree, open air panoramic welcome area, the Buena Vista Lounge, as well as a new main restaurant, main lounge, and coffee shop. The resort’s Deluxe Rooms, Costa del Coco will also have a brand-new look.

To celebrate, Club Med is offering a spring sale of 40% off, plus half off the second guest from now through April 29, for stays through Nov. 1. The resort remains open during renovations.
