Mondrian Cancun All Inclusive
Mondrian Cancun All Inclusive has just opened, marking the brand’s all-inclusive debut.
Formerly the Hyatt Vivid Grand Cancun, Mondrian is reimagining the property’s public spaces, guest rooms, and offerings with renovations and phased opening of new amenities.
The resort is located 15 minutes from Cancun International Airport and situated between the Caribbean Sea and Nichupte Lagoon along Cancun’s Hotel Zone. It features three pools – including Cancun’s longest rooftop infinity pool – as well as 10 restaurants, six bars, and a beach club accessible via a complimentary shuttle.
The property’s 400 rooms are housed in a high-rise tower and offer sweeping lagoon, skyline, and Caribbean Sea views. Some accommodations have private terraces and balconies. Mondrian is also planning to house new branded residences at the resort.
Guests staying in Mondrian+ rooms have panoramic top floor views and expansive wraparound terraces. Plus, this elevated category includes butler service, a private check-in lounge, a dedicated rooftop restaurant and pool, enhanced beverage program, preferred seating at the beach club, and additional curated perks.
Dining options include Cuyo and Cuyo Ceviche for Mexican cuisine, Niko for Japanese dishes, Mondrian Market for grab-and-go bites, and Uno Mas food truck for casual eats. Bungalow Beach Club also offers bi-level and poolside dining.
Mondrian Cancun began welcoming guests on June 15 and there’s more to come in the next phase of its opening, including a spa, fitness center, and teens club.
According to a Hyatt spokesperson, existing reservations made with Hyatt Vivid Grand Cancun are still being honored. The transition of the property out of World of Hyatt will be officially completed on Aug. 19.
