Passport Resorts has appointed Daniel Strawn as its new director of leisure sales.

The San Francisco-based hotel company operates Cavallo Point in Sausalito and Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur. Strawn has a wealth of experience in luxury hospitality and will now lead sales strategy and industry partnerships for the two resorts.

“Daniel brings an exceptional combination of luxury sales expertise, strong industry relationships and a deep understanding of what today’s travel advisors and their clients are looking for,” said Mike Freed, managing partner and co-founder of Passport Resorts. “We are excited to welcome him to Passport Resorts and look forward to having him represent both Cavallo Point and Post Ranch as we continue to strengthen our relationships with the travel trade industry and introduce more advisors and their clients to these two extraordinary California properties.”

Previously, Strawn was the director of business development for Hyatt’s Alila Resorts, where he oversaw domestic and international sales for Alila Napa Valley in St. Helena and Alila Ventana in Big Sur.

A key part of his new role at Passport Resorts will be cultivating and maintaining relationships with luxury travel advisors.

“I’m thrilled to join Passport Resorts and represent two properties that are so distinctive in both setting and sense of place,” Strawn said. “Cavallo Point and Post Ranch Inn offer different experiences, but both deliver the kind of deeply personal, memorable stays that today’s travelers are seeking. I’m looking forward to building meaningful relationships with our travel advisor partners and helping them connect their clients with these remarkable California destinations.”
