travelbrands is calling on Canada’s travel advisor community to spread a little extra holiday cheer this season with the launch of “Hope. Inspire. Smile.”, a charitable campaign supporting children, youth and families in need.

Organized alongside parent company H.I.S. Canada Travel Inc. and its family of brands, the initiative invites travel advisors across the country to give back through toy donations, essential items and Loyalty Rewards Points.

The campaign, which launched Monday (Oct. 19), runs until December 4, 2026, with donations supporting Toronto’s SickKids, Montreal-based Dans la rue and other local charities.

To encourage participation, TravelBrands will match 100 per cent of the dollar value of all Loyalty Rewards Points donated to SickKids during the campaign, effectively doubling advisors’ contributions.

In Toronto, the company is launching “Bring a Toy. Share the Joy.”, an initiative with an ambitious goal: collecting 2,026 toys by December 4 for SickKids.

Advisors are encouraged to contribute new, unwrapped toys from the hospital’s approved donation list.

Meanwhile, in Montreal, TravelBrands is partnering with Dans la rue, an organization that supports young people experiencing homelessness or precarious living situations.

Donations of new essential items, including socks, underwear, sweaters, shoes, coats, blankets and personal hygiene products, are being collected. New, unwrapped toys will also be accepted for distribution to children through local charities.

“Travel is a gift. It brings people together, creates memories and gives us experiences that can stay with us for a lifetime. But we also know there are so many people in our communities who need support in other ways, especially during the holiday season,” said Nathalie Tanious, president and CEO, H.I.S. Canada Travel Inc., in a statement.

“Our travel advisor community is such an important part of who we are, and we wanted to do this alongside them. We know how powerful our travel community can be when we come together, and I’m excited to see what we can accomplish together and how much joy we can bring to families and communities this holiday season.”

How To Participate

TravelBrands is offering advisors three ways to contribute to the holiday campaign.

Office drop-offs: On November 25, advisors can visit TravelBrands’ Toronto or Montreal offices between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to deliver donations and connect with local business development managers (BDMs) and team members.

The Toronto office is located at 5343 Dundas St. W., 4th Floor, while the Montreal office is at 2100 rue Drummond, Suite 601.

Industry events: Advisors attending upcoming industry events where TravelBrands is represented can bring donations for collection by a company BDM. Advisors are encouraged to coordinate with their local representative in advance.

Loyalty Rewards Points: Between October 19 and December 4, advisors can donate their accumulated points in support of SickKids. TravelBrands will match the full dollar value of those donations.

The campaign is part of a broader effort to bring Canada’s travel industry together in support of communities during the holiday season, the company said.

For more information about the initiative, including donation guidelines and participation details, advisors can contact their local TravelBrands BDM or visit www.travelbrandsaccess.com.
