After 13 years at G Adventures including more than seven as that company’s Global Communications Lead, Casey Mead is setting out in search of new adventures.

“It is the end of the ‘G Adventures Era’ for me. After 13 years – where my Swifties at?! – I have decided it’s time to do something new,” Mead said in a Facebook post.

“I will be forever grateful for the incredible relationships I have forged during my time with G. So many of my best friendships and coolest business relationships are as a result of working with G – you all know who you are!”

Mead added: “There have also been so many mind-blowing and life-changing travel experiences I have been privileged to experience. Amazing press trips, events, awards won, and experiences shared. It’s always been about the people.”

What’s next for this enthusiastic and energetic communications professional?

“I’ve been taking a beat this past month or so after many years of hard work — my whole working life — and am now feeling ready to get busy again. My eyes and ears are open to any projects/collaborations that may excite and energize me,” Mead said.

It’s likely she won’t be too far away, as she told Travel Market Report: “You may not have seen the last of me.”
