TMP Suppliers Agree – Agents are Key to Everyone’s Success

TMP Suppliers Agree – Agents are Key to Everyone’s Success

G’s David Green and Explora Journeys’ Patricia Di Benedetto.

The 2025 Travel Market Place (TMP) events in Vancouver, Toronto, and Calgary have officially wrapped with huge success, and planning is already underway for 2026 which will see Montreal join the schedule for the very first time.

TMP takes great pride in fostering the supplier-advisor connection, and much of our success is due to the calibre, passion, and professionalism of the advisors who attend each year.

This week, we’re connecting with suppliers to gather their feedback on the shows — what the events mean to them, and how the shows help strengthen relationships with travel advisors across Canada.

“TMP events consistently attract engaged, knowledgeable, and high-quality travel advisors, which gives me the opportunity to not only create brand awareness for Explora Journeys but also create stronger relationships and partnerships with the Canadian Travel Advisor Community,” Patricia Di Benedetto. Director, Business Relationship Lead National & Key Accounts, told us.

David Green, G Adventures’ VP Sales and Customer Operations & Managing Director Canada, echoes that sentiment.

“Every year we see many of the same agents attending which is a sign that this event creates the right level of learning and networking,” Green told Travel Market Report Canada. “It’s a great experience for both new to industry agents as well as seasoned professionals who know the importance of attending to stay on top of their game.”

TMP Toronto 2025 attracted a record 800 attendees.

Both Di Benedetto and Green say their participation in the TMP events are a perfect opportunity for advisors to network and stay up to date on the latest trends from suppliers.

“Advisors love that this event brings together many of their supplier partners where they can ask questions face to face,” says Green. “Considering that many of the agents who attend are home-based, this event not only brings people together it helps create new connections.”

“TMR and TMP do a fantastic job in bringing the trade together and every year it feels like a reunion and a celebration of all the hard work we do,” says Di Benedetto. “The TMP shows themselves are always well executed and get better and better each year.

It’s clear the team genuinely cares about creating value for both suppliers and advisors, and I truly appreciate the partnership.”

But what about those advisors who might be on the fence about attending?

“I’d ask them – where have you been? You are missing out!” Green says emphatically.

“I’d tell them they’re missing out! It’s one of the best opportunities to connect directly with top suppliers, strengthen their product knowledge, and grow their business!” adds Di Benedetto.
