Marlin Travel Brantford Taps Julie Curcio-Birch as Director of Sales and Development

Julie Curcio-Birch has been named Director of Sales and Development for Marlin Travel Brantford.

Marlin Travel has announced popular industry executive Julie Curcio-Birch has joined the Brantford team as Director of Sales and Development.

In a Linkedin Post, Denise Luciani, owner, welcomed Curcio-Birch to the team, highlighting her experience and passion for travel.

“With over 30 years of experience in the travel industry, Julie is a true powerhouse — known for her leadership, expertise, and infectious energy,” Luciani wrote. “She brings unmatched passion, professionalism, and heart to everything she does, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her on our team. You’ll be seeing a lot more of her friendly face, we’re so lucky to have you, Julie!”

Curcio-Birch began her career in 1992 with Transat Holidays and later held several leadership roles, including Regional Manager for Corporate Stores at Transat Distribution Canada, Member Services and Manager for Transat’s Business Development Representatives across Ontario and Atlantic Canada.

“In these roles, I’ve had the privilege of supporting and guiding many talented travel professionals within the Marlin Travel and Transat Travel brands, contributing to their growth and continued success,” she told Travel Market Report Canada.

“Being part of the Marlin Travel, Transat family has always been a source of pride for me, I’ve held the organization in the highest regard. So, when the opportunity arose to work alongside my longtime Transat family colleague and friend, Denise Luciani, I knew it was something I couldn’t pass up. I am thrilled to be back!

My true passion lies in coaching, mentoring, and collaborating with Travel Professionals. I bring a wealth of experience, deep industry knowledge, and a strong commitment to helping agents unlock their full sales and revenue potential.”

In her new role Curcio-Birch will be supporting and mentoring a growing team of Travel Entrepreneurs, enhancing their programs, and working closely with industry partners and preferred suppliers to drive revenue, sales and growth.

“At the heart of it all, our travel entrepreneurs’ success is our success.”
