Transat Distribution Canada Expands in SK with New Women-Owned Marlin Travel Location

Transat Distribution Canada Expands in SK with New Women-Owned Marlin Travel Location

Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) is adding a brand-new Marlin Travel agency in the heart of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to its network, owned by two dynamic women entrepreneurs, Sheena Revet and Heather Calvert.

Revet and Calvert were owners of another Marlin Travel agency in Regina and joined the TDC network in 2021.

“We are beyond excited to announce the opening of our second travel agency, right on Main Street in charming Moose Jaw,” says Sheena Revet, speaking for her co-owner. “As a locally and Canadian-owned business, this milestone reflects our deep commitment to serving communities across Southern Saskatchewan with exceptional travel planning expertise.

The location at 502 Main Street, Moose Jaw has been a travel agency since 1981, so, when the location became available, it was a no-brainer for us to rebrand it with the Marlin Travel logo.”

Dianne Jackson, Director of Franchise and Affiliate Members at TDC, said the opening of a second franchisee is a testament to the strength and trust behind the Marlin brand and TDC as a network.

“Marlin continues to be the go-to choice for Canadians seeking unforgettable travel experiences for more than 35 years. For customers, brand awareness is important when choosing a company, and especially when trust is a factor. This is even more true when we’re talking about a service company. This trust, built over the long term, is a differentiating factor worth its weight in gold, especially in an industry with fierce competition.

As an organization, TDC is proud to see its members, such as Heather and Sheena, develop and grow this brand”.
