Air Canada Vacations Lucy Sabella to Retire

Lucy Sabella will retire from Air Canada Vacations August 1.
Lucy Sabella, Vice President of Operations at Air Canada Vacations is retiring, effective August 1, 2025.
“Lucy’s impact on Air Canada Vacations is immeasurable. Her leadership, integrity, and deep commitment to both our people and our partners will leave a lasting legacy” says Nino Montagnese, Vice President, Air Canada Vacations.
“She’s been a driving force behind our evolution and a steady, inspiring presence through decades of change. On behalf of the entire organization, I want to thank Lucy for 39 incredible years and wish
her all the best in this exciting new chapter.”
Sabella’s 39-year career began in Customer Relations, and she progressed through the organization to become Vice President of Operations, helping modernize systems, improve the customer experience, and strengthen industry partnerships. In a press release, ACV says she was “deeply aligned with the company’s core values, she inspired teams across the organization and leaves a meaningful impact as a mentor, leader, and change maker.”
Air Canada Vacations is also pleased to announce the appointment of Sylvia Costa as Senior Director, Operations, effective August 1, 2025.
Sylvia brings strong operational expertise and leadership experience, having served as Director, Customer Contact Center Excellence at Air Canada since 2022 and having previously led key departments at Air Canada Vacations as Director, Customer Experience (2014–2022) and Interim Head of Operations (2019–2020). Her collaborative style and commitment to service excellence make her well equipped to lead the Operations team forward.
