Air Canada Vacations Launches “ACV Options” a No-Deposit Booking Feature

Air Canada Vacations Launches “ACV Options” a No-Deposit Booking Feature

Advisors can now reserve Air Canada Vacations packages for up to 24 hours and tours for up to 48 hours without requiring a deposit.

The news was unveiled Wednesday (November 5) morning during a morning session as part of ACV’s “Celebration Under the Sun” where 400 advisors and partners are in Cancun to celebrate its 50th Anniversary.

The new ACV Options eliminates the need for an upfront deposit. If no payment is made by the deadline, the system will automatically cancel the booking, no manual action required. This seamless feature allows travel advisors to hold space while clients finalize their travel decisions, ensuring peace of mind and operational efficiency.

“We know how challenging it can be for our travel advisors to navigate client demands while respecting strict booking deadlines,” said Nino Montagnese, Vice President, Air Canada Vacations. “That’s why we developed this flexible booking solution to simplify the process, reduce stress, and empower our advisors to better serve their clients.”

The program applies to all pre-packaged vacations and tour packages within the Air Canada Vacations portfolio. The ACV Options policy has a blackout period between December 18, and January 3rd of any travel year.

ACV Options is not applicable for departures within 28 days of the booking date and is available exclusively to Air Canada Vacations’ travel advisor partners.
