Global tour operator Collette says its Canada business achieved its best year ever in 2025, marking a milestone for the company’s long‑standing commitment to offering exceptional worldwide travel experiences to Canadian travellers.
“We saw positive momentum in Canada throughout 2025,” said Christian Leibl‑Cote, Executive Vice President of Global Sales at Collette.
“Travellers are looking for meaningful and immersive experiences and our team’s dedication to designing tours that truly deliver on that promise helped make this a standout year. As a Canadian traveller myself, I am excited about the growth ahead and the incredible selection of tours for travellers.”

In business for more than a century, Collette says its record year was fueled by strong demand for immersive cultural experiences, renewed interest in European travel, and travellers’ growing preference for having a dedicated tour manager, all of which helped drive increased bookings and satisfaction.
As Collette looks ahead to 2026 and beyond, the company says it is expanding in ways inspired directly by traveller feedback—adding more departures on the itineraries guests love most, broadening its guided touring portfolio with experiences shaped by real traveller interests, and elevating every step of the journey to ensure travellers feel supported, enriched, and connected throughout their travels.
Collette had a high profile at the recent sold-out TMP Vancouver event, the first of four in Canada this year, with future conferences set for Calgary, Toronto and Montreal.
At TMP Vancouver, Christian Leibl‑Cote hosted a cocktail reception for close to 500 guests and Vice President Canada Ron Lonsdale participated in a panel on the growing popularity of guided land touring hosted by TMR Canada’s Bruce Parkinson. The company sent several representatives to meet with more than 350 Western Canada travel advisors.
