Contiki Launches Ride Journeys in Vietnam & Cambodia

Contiki has introduced two new small group tours that invite travelers to immerse themselves in Southeast Asia while riding Vespas, motorbikes, and tuk-tuks.

Part of The Travel Corporation (TTC), Contiki is a tour operator that specializes in the 18- to 35-year-old niche. The brand has been planning travel experiences for young travelers since 1962.

The new itineraries are Ride Vietnam and Ride Cambodia, both of which eschew the traditional motorcoach format for a more active, immersive travel style. The trips are built around movement and the idea that the transportation can be a central part of the overall land tour experience. Departures begin in November 2026 and are now available to book.

Ride Vietnam is a six-day journey through the heart of the country on the back of Vespas and motorbikes. Highlights include a Vespa food tour, a full-day ride across Hai Van Pass, and a cooking class with a local chef in Hoi An. The maximum group size is 16.

Ride Cambodia is an eight-day tour from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh. The entire itinerary features travel by tuk-tuk, and includes cultural experiences such as visiting a silk farm, learning to make local cuisine at a Khmer noodle-making workshop, and staying in a stilted homestay above the water in Kampong Khleang. The maximum group size is 14.

Contiki has unveiled the new trips alongside a “Vibes On Overdrive” campaign, which features six influencers who experienced both itineraries.

“Young travelers are moving beyond the Instagram ‘greatest hits’ and looking for trips that connect and immerse them in destinations,” said Tom O’Hara, head of brand at Contiki. “A small group of like-minded travellers can be sharing meals with locals, staying in family-run accommodation and discovering off-the-beaten-track towns and villages, all while being led by an experienced and knowledgeable Contiki crew. It’s about getting closer to the culture, the communities, and the moments that make travel unforgettable.”
