Goway Names 3 New VPs to Oversee Key Destination Markets

Goway’s new VPs: (l to r) Marc Sison, Bronwyn Hodge and Reese Avelino.

Goway Travel has announced the appointment of three new Vice Presidents overseeing key destination markets across the globe. The company says the appointments reflect its  continued growth and commitment to delivering exceptional travel experiences as it marks 55 years in business.

“With more travellers seeking expertly curated, meaningful experiences, Goway continues to invest in leadership that drives innovation, strengthens destination expertise, and enhances the client experience,” says Goway COO Dean Moore.

With these changes, Bronwyn Hodge assumes the role of VP Africa & the Middle East, while Goway’s rapidly growing Europe division will be overseen by Marc Sison (VP Europe North) and Reesa Avelino (VP Europe South).

They join VPs specializing in Asia (Moira Smith), the Americas (Sean Hebert), Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific (Anthony Saba), giving each Goway division its own dedicated VP.

After 55 years, Goway Travel continues to expand.

Meet Goway’s Newest Division VPs

Bronwyn Hodge – VP Africa & Middle East

Bronwyn brings over 12 years of Goway experience, most recently as VP Communications. Her previous roles include General Manager Idyllic Islands where she drove significant sales growth and product expansion, building on a background in Product and Sales.

Marc Sison – VP Central and Northern Europe

Coming to Goway with over 13 years of experience in the travel industry, Sison has held leadership roles across sales, product, and business development. Leading a high-performance sales team at Kensington Tours, he helped drive sustained 30% year-over-year growth. Most recently, as Business Development Director at the Kusini Collection, Sison represented a curated portfolio of DMCs and lodges across Africa, Latin America, and Asia, connecting them with North American advisors and tour operators.

Reesa Avelino – VP Europe South

Reesa joined Goway Travel in 2018 as a Product Manager for Europe South and has been a key figure in the company ever since. In 2023, she became Director of Product, working closely with each regional team to strengthen communication, consistency, and alignment across each department.
