TIME Canada Names Inaugural National Committee of Industry Leaders

TIME Canada Country Program Manager Edith Beaudoin.

TIME Canada (Travel Industry Mentor Experience), the not-for-profit mentoring program dedicated to developing and retaining the next generation of travel and tourism professionals, has announced the members of its inaugural Canadian committee.

The group of nine senior industry leaders will help guide the program as it prepares to welcome its first Canadian cohort at an inaugural event in Toronto on September 23.

The committee brings together decades of combined experience across retail travel, host agencies, tour operating, expedition and luxury cruising, aviation, rail, destination marketing, and tourism.

Its members will support TIME Canada’s board and Country Program Manager in shaping the program locally — championing mentorship, guiding the mentor and mentee cohorts, and building the industry relationships that sustain long-term success — while drawing on the proven framework behind TIME’s fifteen-plus years of impact in Australia and New Zealand.

The TIME Canada Committee

  • Sheralyn Berry — Director of Commercial Sales, Destination America
  • Jeff Element — Chief Operating Officer, The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND)
  • Steve Farrelly — Founder, PlusSixOne Consulting
  • Nathalie Guay — Canadian Market Lead, OCEAN Signature Resorts by H10
  • Dianne Jackson — Director, Franchise & Affiliate, Transat Distribution Canada (TDC)
  • Shawna Little Calderwood — Founder, Lavish Adventure Travel
  • Emma McCormick — General Manager, North America, Chimu Adventures
  • Gavin Miller — Owner, The Long Lunch
  • Duncan Pattillo — Director of Programming & Events, Base31

“The calibre of leaders stepping forward to guide TIME Canada says everything about where this industry wants to go,” says Edith Beaudoin, Country Program Manager, TIME Canada.

“In every conversation I have with people across Canadian travel, the same thing comes through — they want to give back, and they want to make sure our industry has a strong future. This committee turns that shared commitment into real support for the next generation. ”

The committee’s appointment comes ahead of TIME Canada’s inaugural launch event on September 23, where the program will welcome its first Canadian cohort of mentees alongside industry partners, mentors, and supporters. The event will be keynoted by TIME Founder and Chair Penny Spencer, who will travel from Sydney to mark the occasion.
