Transat Distribution Canada Launches TDC Social Media Powered by Rallio

Transat Distribution Canada Launches TDC Social Media Powered by Rallio

Karine Gagnon, General Manager of TDC.

Transat Distribution Canada (TDC) has launched TDC Social Media powered by Rallio, described as a turnkey solution to improve the online presence of network members.

TDC says the new product offers original and exclusive content to network members that can be personalized for each of their agencies, completely free of charge.

“In the distribution industry via travel professionals, it is not always easy to stand out since the product offering is relatively similar from one network to another,’” says Karine Gagnon, TDC’s General Manager.

“The key to carving out a distinctive place in the customers’ minds is to have a strong voice and a unique brand image online, especially on social media. And that’s what TDC Social Media offers to members of our entire network: it doesn’t matter whether you’re a franchised or affiliated agency, a Transat Travel/Voyages Transat agency or a member of the agent@home program, everyone can connect their Facebook page for free on this exclusive channel.”

TDC members have a new social media tool.

Gagnon adds that “much of the content distributed via this new channel is developed in collaboration with our valued partners, with whom we always work closely.”

For Marc Pelletier, senior director of marketing, communications and events, TDC Social Media is an important addition to TDC’s marketing arsenal, and adds value for members.

“Our members have access to original and impactful publications and visuals, created for them by the TDC marketing team, and made available to them if they wish to modify them. For me, it ticks all the boxes: it’s perfect for both the owner or advisor who has few resources to devote to maintaining their online presence and needs something ready to use, as well as for those who are already very active on social media but would like occasional support to improve their posts,” Pelletier says.

Agency owners using TDC Social Media are pleased with the product.

“TDC Social Media has taken our social media posts to the next level,” said Sarah Crowhurst, owner at Travel Plus The Travel Place. “The engaging and creative posts truly set us apart in the industry. The platform is very user friendly, making it easy to schedule and create new content in just minutes. I can’t wait to dive into the AI editor and explore even more ways to enhance our social media presence.”

For his part, Marlin Travel Hanover owner Jeromy Wilhelm said transitioning to the new TDC Social Media platform was seamless and easy.

“I’m certainly impressed with the richness of the graphics, the quotes are captivating and I’m hopeful that over time, as I increase the consistency of my social media posts, I’ll see an added increase in engagement. Overall, I’m happy with what I’ve seen so far.”
