Greece Strike May Affect Air Travel

November 11, 2015

A workers strike in Greece this Thursday, Nov. 12, is expected to affect public transportation and air travel. A 24-hour walkout is planned by thousands of Greek workers on Thursday, the first general strike under the Syriza party, which came to power last January.

This is not good news for European air travel, as the UFO’s Lufthansa strike is already stranding thousands at airports around Europe. Travel agents with clients flying in and out of Europe should be on the lookout for delays or cancellations through Friday.
