Holy Land Deals

December 23, 2015

Israel is getting creative in its efforts to encourage tourism.

El Al Israel Airlines is teaming with Leonardo by Fattal Hotels on a six-night Milk & Honey vacation package that includes roundtrip economy-class air; rooms at hotels in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Tiberias, and Bat Yam; and daily breakfast.

Prices are $999 from Boston, $1,099 from New York (JFK/Newark) and $1,249 from Los Angeles, for travel from January 10 through March 24, 2016.

Also new for 2016 is a partnership between the German Tourist office and the Israel Ministry of Tourism honoring their 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations. Called “In the footsteps of Jesus and Martin Luther,” their joint tour includes five days in Israel visiting Nazareth, Cana, the Sea of Galilee Jerusalem, and five in Germany, where Martin Luther lived and worked, including Wittenberg, Eisleben, Erfurt, Eisenach, and Frankfurt am Main.
