Karisma Unveils Plans For Massive Jamaica Property
Karisma Hotels & Resorts’ $900-million “Sugarcane” project in Jamaica will begin construction early next year.
Built on 200 acres, the property is located in the St. Ann region of the island nation’s north coast. Karisma said it expects to open three of its 10 planned hotels in 2019, for a total of 1,800 rooms. The remainder of the hotels will open over a 10-year timespan.
Karisma currently operates the Sensatori in Negril and is scheduled to open Azul in the same location in March 2017.
