Las Vegas’ Caesar Palace Gets $75 Million Upgrade
In honor of its 50th anniversary next year, Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is shelling out $75 million to renovate its Roman Tower. The 587-room hotel, to be renamed the Julius Tower, will have modernized and updated rooms, including new artwork and stone showers.
This is first step in the casino’s $1 billion investment, an effort to revamp after its parent company, Caesars Entertainment Operating Co., filed for bankruptcy in January.
The tower is expected to be open for guests Jan. 1, with room rates of about $149 a night.
