Enhance Your Clients’ Transit Experience with HKG’s Free Layover Tours

Enhance Your Clients’ Transit Experience with HKG’s Free Layover Tours

HKG is offering free tours for passengers with long layovers.

Travel advisors can turn a negative into a positive by offering free tours to clients with a long layover in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), in partnership with Trip.com, is offering a value-added service for your international clients: complimentary four-hour sightseeing tours for transit passengers with layovers of 7 hours or more.

This initiative allows advisors to position Hong Kong not just as a hub, but as a destination in itself, giving travellers an enriching stopover experience at no additional cost. The tours also make for a refreshing break during a long journey.

Available Tours (for immediate booking):

Heritage & Local Lifestyle Citywalk

Visit Wong Tai Sin Temple and explore Sham Shui Po for a taste of authentic Hong Kong culture.

Victoria & West Kowloon Waterfront Journey

Experience the West Kowloon Cultural District and enjoy spectacular views of Victoria Harbour.

Coming December 2025:

Serenity & Stories: A Harmony Journey
A new countryside tour highlighting Hong Kong’s natural landscapes and rural traditions.

Hong Kong International Airport.

Program Highlights:

• Free of charge for international transit passengers (7+ hour layover at HKIA).

• All-inclusive: transportation, entry tickets, and English-speaking guides.

• Fast-track re-entry to the airport ensures smooth continuation of onward travel.

• Flexible booking via Trip.com app, website, or directly at HKIA transit counters.
