Travel advisors can now apply to be an inaugural member of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority’s Travel Advisor Board.

The destination is creating this new professional body to help inform its tourism strategy and make closer connections with the travel trade. The Travel Advisor Board will ultimately consist of eight members from St. Kitts’ major source markets: the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and the Caribbean.

“The launch of the Travel Advisor Board reflects our continued commitment to strengthening the relationship between St. Kitts and the travel advisor community,” said Kelly Fontenelle, CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority. “By listening to and collaborating with our valued partners, we can stay agile in the face of global trends and evolving consumer behavior – ensuring St. Kitts remains a competitive and sought-after destination.”

Future board members will have the opportunity to influence St. Kitts’ tourism strategy and marketing efforts. They’ll also receive benefits such as an annual in-destination meeting with key decision makers, exclusive networking opportunities, and other incentives. Their term will be a minimum of one year, and they’ll be required to attend virtual meetings throughout the term.

To apply, travel advisors can fill out this form on the St. Kitts Tourism Authority website. The deadline to submit the application is Oct. 31, 11:59 p.m. EST.
