Accor to Expand Emblems Collection in Italy

Accor has signed on three properties in Italy that will each become part of its luxury Emblems Collection in mid-2026.

The company has entered a strategic partnership with AG Group, a big player in Italy’s hospitality and tourism development industry, to introduce the Emblems brand in Tuscany, Umbria, and Apulia.

Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery, and Emblems, said the properties “perfectly match the spirit of Emblems Collection: exceptional destinations, offering luxury that is both intimate and exclusive, with a profound sense of space and suspended time.”

“That’s what Emblems brand is all about: the promise of discovering unique places, deeply rooted in their heritage and history, where simplicity meets sophistication. My heartfelt thanks to AG Group for these three emblematic projects together.”

In Tuscany: Siena, Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti, Emblems Collection will breathe new life into a palazzo that encompasses centuries of art and architecture. The 38-key property will feature a serene spa and restored historic features such as hidden gardens, frescoes, and ancient caves.

In Umbria: Relais San Clemente, Emblems Collection will have 51 rooms spread across nine private villas. The buildings are set on a large park estate, full of century-old trees, that was once a Benedictine convent. At its heart is a consecrated chapel dedicated to San Clemente, so the property will be teeming with both nature and spirituality.

In Apulia: Masseria Furnirussi, Emblems Collection will feature 60 suites, most with private pools, and a full spa. The property’s traditional Salento architecture will be reimagined with local white stone. It’s all set in Europe’s largest fig orchard that is alive with fruit trees, herbs, and native botanicals.

The three Italy properties join four others in Emblems’ global pipeline: Elatos Resort, Emblems Collection in Greece; Hotel Bellevue Cortina d’Ampezzo, Emblems Collection in Italy; Lucknam Park, Emblems Collection in the UK; and Rimrock Banff, Emblems Collection in Canada.
