Fort Lauderdale Welcomes Tribute Portfolio’s The Dalmar

Fort Lauderdale Welcomes Tribute Portfolio’s The Dalmar

The Dalmar Lobby Bar

The Dalmar, part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio collection brand, will celebrate its grand opening at the end of April in Fort Lauderdale.

South Florida’s newbuild lifestyle hotel sports a retro vibe, with mid-century interiors featuring palm-printed wallpapers and brass chandeliers. The hotel’s indoor-outdoor design, including a wraparound and lushly landscaped sky deck, gives visitors the experience of both downtown Fort Lauderdale and ocean views.

The 209 guestrooms, including 33 suites, are outfitted in neutral tones, rich leathers, natural woods and marble bathrooms. Each has a rainfall shower, 55-inch HDTV flat screen and 65-inch TVs in all suites, and luxurious Sferra bedding and linens. Additional in-room amenities include iPad technology, keyless room entry, and in-room Amazon Alexa automation.

The Lobby Lounge and Bar offers a relaxed atmosphere with live music on weekends and a specialty cocktail menu. The space is designed with terrazzo floors and comfortable lounge seating options; and a luminous pink onyx bar with a custom-designed, stained-glass mural.

The hotel’s signature restaurant, The Terrace Grill, is a classic American grill, fused with hints of Italian flair. Opening in May is the highly-anticipated rooftop bar, Sparrow, perched on the 25th floor with a 1960s design. Rose’s Coffee Bar serves coffee from La COLOMBE and fresh, baked goods.

The Dalmar has 16,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor, versatile event space for groups and events of up to 300 attendees. Spaces include the Garden, a picturesque tropical space for outdoor events and ceremonies; and the Pool Deck, a breezy backdrop for cocktail receptions and corporate events.

Other lifestyle offerings include the Yoga Joint (where guests can take classes with live DJs to Hot Fusion Flow, Kids Yoga, and Core), to luxury cabanas at the infinity pool.
