Waldorf Astoria Orlando Appoints New Hotel Manager
Nick Flynn has been appointed as the new general manager of Conrad Maldives Rangali Island. His began his career as a chef, and he brings more than two decades of experience in culinary arts, operations, and executive leadership
Fairmont Century Plaza, a landmark luxury property in Los Angeles, has appointed Hiren Prabhakar as its new general manager. Prabhakar is a veteran in the hospitality industry with over 30 years of experience, including at InterContinental Lusaka, The St. Regis Moscow, and Toronto Marriott Markham.
Reservations are now available at Limelight Mammoth, which opens in late 2025. The new property – in Mammoth Lake, California – features 124 guest rooms, 25 suites, and 15 private residences, along with a lounge and private club, Mammoth Lakes Mountain Club.

Marriott’s Tampa Water Steet collection has a new dual director of operations. Stefan Ritter, already the director at Tampa Marriott Water Street, now assumes the role at the neighboring JW Marriott Tampa Water Street, as well.
JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort & Spa has also appointed a new general manager. Richard Romane steps into the leadership role after nearly three decades working at other Marriott properties.
John Stanford Hazard is the new managing director at Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Turks & Caicos. He brings more than two decades of expertise in luxury hotel operations and brand strategy, most recently managing Grace Bay Club & Private Villa Collection in Turks & Caicos.
Alila Mayakoba, set to open by the end of this year, is now accepting bookings for stays beginning Feb. 12, 2026. The property is being completely rebranded from the former Andaz Mayakoba and will be the first Alila hotel in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Maui’s popular Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows just debuted a new oceanfront spa, The Spa at Royal Lahaina, the final piece to a resort-wide transformation. Updates also include reimagined bungalows, two refreshed oceanfront pools, an updated lobby, and several new dining and gathering spaces.
Sheraton Grand Nashville has introduced a new lineup of Music City experiences for groups. Perfect for meetings and events clients, the hotel now offers boot-styling with Ariat, a personalized hat bar with Rustler Hat Co., a Strings for Hope jewelry making workshop, bourbon pairings and cocktail classes, and a mahjong program.
Renovations are complete at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island. The South Carolina property’s full transformation includes enhanced guest rooms, dining, outdoor amenities, spa, and meeting spaces. While phase one was completed one year ago with the guest rooms, the public spaces are now all shiny and new, as well.

The Muse New York, a boutique hotel in Midtown Manhattan, has just unveiled major updates, including a new dining venue, art collection, and suites. Little Opus is the property’s new all-day restaurant, and hosts some of the new art by Markus Sebastiano. The hotel also features newly enhanced suites that offer a more luxurious stay for couples, families, and small groups.
Waldorf Astoria Orlando has appointed Anthony Fabiano as its new hotel manager. Fabiano has more than 15 years of luxury hospitality experience and most recently served as director of operations (task force) for Hilton Luxury Brands Americas.
The St. Regis Singapore has appointed Nicholas Heath as its new general manager. Heath began his career with Hyatt and joined Marriott in 2007, most recently as the general manager of JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach.
