Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has just debuted in Thailand with the opening of Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit.

The luxury hotel features 416 guestrooms and 58 suites, plus restaurants, wellness facilities, and meeting and event spaces. The property’s design is inspired by Thai culture, and it is centrally located in the capital city’s Sukhumvit neighborhood near dining, entertainment, and landmarks.

“Thailand’s gracious hospitality, rich cultural heritage and deep-rooted appreciation for connection make it a natural home for Fairmont,” said Omer Acar, CEO of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. “Representing a pivotal step in Fairmont’s strategic expansion across Asia, this landmark property follows the much-anticipated debuts of both Fairmont Hanoi and Fairmont Tokyo. More than just a hotel, this magnificent social epicenter enables locals and global travelers to unite and celebrate, connect, and immerse themselves in the spirit of this vivid city, enabling us to truly Make Special Happen for everyone that visits.”

Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit exudes elegance, while also honoring the destination, with its lobby chandelier inspired by the golden ratchaphruek blossom, Thailand’s national flower. Throughout the hotel’s public spaces and guest rooms, bespoke artworks, sculptural forms, and subtle botanical motifs all weave Thai culture into the property.

Accommodations incorporate an elevated “hotel-within-a-hotel” concept called Fairmont Gold for guests in higher-level room categories. Fairmont Gold guests have a dedicated reception for seamless check-in and check-out, an exclusive lounge with curated food and beverage offerings throughout the day, and a dedicated concierge team.

The hotel also features the Fairmont Spa, which takes inspiration from the local jasmine flower, Fairmont Studio fitness center, and Fairmont Fit wellness programming. There is also a Kids Club program with dedicated experiences for children.

Dining includes seven distinct venues that will be unveiled throughout the remainder of the year, from a North American-French brasserie concept to a cocktail bar to the CAYA Pool Club. In mid-September, an immersive supper club entertainment and dining venue, Wiggle Room, will open. And in December, rooftop Japanese and Italian restaurants will open on the 32nd and 33rd floors.
