The new W Las Vegas will make its debut on Dec. 18, 2024.

MGM Resorts and Marriott, which partnered under a licensing agreement that officially started earlier this year, announced plans for the hotel earlier this year and confirmed its exact debut date on Monday.

More details of what the new W Las Vegas will feature and will look like are likely to be revealed over the coming days and weeks.

The hotel takes the place of the Delano, the all-suite boutique hotel adjacent to the Mandalay Bay. Its debut will give MGM Collection with Marriott 12 different resorts on the Vegas Strip, including some of its more iconic names like Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan, Mandalay Bay, and New York, New York.

In a message to travel partners on Monday, MGM confirmed the date and said that, even with the rebranding, any contracts will still go through MGM Resorts. “You will continue to work with your existing MGM Resorts contacts, who remain deeply committed to your business and its continued success,” the message said.
