A new hotel from Hilton’s Motto by Hilton brand will open in New York City’s Times Square in August.

The 400-room tower is located on 48th Street, near some of Manhattan’s most famous tourist attractions, including dozens of Broadway theaters, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA, The Guggenheim, Radio City Music Hall, and Rockefeller Center.

“Times Square is a neighborhood and destination all its own and the entire Motto by Hilton Times Square team is excited to welcome guests and locals to experience all this property and our neighborhood has to offer,” Peter McNamee, the hotel’s general manager, said in a statement. “Combining unmatched hospitality, elevated design and a premiere location, Motto Times Square is sure to offer the most authentic taste of New York City.”

Motto by Hilton Times Square will include an upscale restaurant, The Alderman, which puts an elegant spin on the New York City diner atmosphere and will service American food and craft cocktails. The building also features art-filled common areas and an arched lobby bar.

The hotel’s architecture and design incorporate imagery of New York City from the 1920s through modern day. Rooms have unobstructed views of the city skyline, smart technology, and economical layouts. Confirmed Connecting Rooms by Hilton technology allows groups of travelers to book up to six adjoining rooms that connect.

“This new hotel exemplifies the Motto brand essence – it is centrally located in one of the city’s most famed neighborhoods and incorporates flexible and modern design elements, encouraging guests to connect and reflect on the cityscape, moments from the best of Broadway, museums, dining and culture,” Theodora De Souza, brand leader of Motto by Hilton, said in a statement.

This is the second Motto by Hilton hotel in New York City and the sixth overall to open since the brand launched in 2018. Guests can redeem their Hilton Honors loyalty program rewards at these locations, as well as receive perks such as free Wi-Fi, a digital key, payment using program points, and member discounts.
