Raffles Hotels & Resorts has launched its newest global ad campaign, this one aimed at showcasing its top-notch butler service.

The ad series, “The Butler Did It,” shows a butler tending to three Raffles guests, all played by actors. Raffles Singapore, the brand’s flagship property known for its butlers since opening in 1887, is the backdrop for the video and images.

“While ‘The Butler Did It’ is often the answer to ‘whodunits’ throughout history, our campaign depicts the butler as the hero of any occasion, no matter how unconventional,” said Omer Acar, CEO of Raffles Hotels & Resorts. “We hope our guests will now join us in saying ‘The Butler Did It’ when experiencing a surprising moment of delight with Raffles.”

Under the creative direction of Trey Laird, and model Tim Easton starring as the butler, the ad brings out the artistic elegance found at Raffles Hotels & Resorts. The Raffles guests are played by designer and actor Waris Ahluwalia, fashion icon Robert Rabensteiner, and model May Siu.

“Raffles is a heritage brand, but it delivers a modern guest experience that is full of warmth, with a playfulness and sense of whimsy,” Laird said. “This was the spirit I wanted to evoke through ‘The Butler Did It,’ allowing guests to imagine how a stay at Raffles might exceed their wildest dreams.”
