Raffles Boston has appointed Ellen Ryan as the hotel’s new director of sales and marketing.

In addition to the new role, Ryan will continue in her position as regional director of sales and marketing for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, overseeing strategy and performance for The Plaza, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, in New York; Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park; and Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston.

“Ellen Ryan’s leadership and expertise in Boston’s luxury hotel landscape are truly unmatched,” said Carlos Bueno, general manager of Raffles Boston. “Her strategic vision, long-standing industry relationships, and remarkable track record make her an invaluable addition to our team as we continue to define Raffles Boston as the city’s premier destination for discerning travelers and extraordinary events.”

Ryan will work closely with Bueno to oversee all sales and marketing initiatives for the hotel. She is a Massachusetts native who brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, starting her career as a group sales manager at Fairmont Copley Plaza.

“I am delighted to join the exceptionally talented team at Raffles Boston,” Ryan said. “It is a tremendous honor to lead sales and marketing at the North American flagship of a brand celebrated worldwide for crafting unforgettable experiences, where legendary service is woven into every detail. I look forward to partnering with our dynamic team and the vibrant Boston community to bring the Raffles legacy to life and create meaningful moments of discovery, connection, and elegance for every guest who walks through our doors.”
