Rental Escapes has expanded its global portfolio with a new curated collection of accessible villas that blends high-end comfort with accommodations purposefully designed with wheelchair users in mind.
Specializing in luxury villas, Rental Escapes boasts more than 5,000 carefully vetted private rentals in more than 170 destinations in popular tourism regions like the Caribbean, Mexico, the U.S. and Europe.
The new Accessible Villas collection was introduced to make it easier for travelers who use mobility devices or otherwise require accommodations that are step-free. The collection presents a range of accessibility features, such as step-free entrances and wide doorways, ground-floor living and bedrooms, ramps, elevators, and roll-in showers, spacious layouts, and dedicated on-site staff and support upon request.
As with the rest of the Rental Escapes portfolio, reservations include concierge service for arranging experiences such as boat rides or private chef dining.
Highlights from the Accessible Villas collections include:
- Cazador Lodge, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado (pictured): A five-bedroom ski lodge with a maximum occupancy of 12 guests. The property includes a floor-to-ceiling fireplace and a sunken hot tub.
- Villa des Parcs, in Saint-Tropez, France: A seven-bedroom, six-bathroom estate with stunning sea views, private beach access, and beautifully landscaped gardens. The villa is fully staffed, including a private chef, butler, and housekeepers.
- Ana Flamands in Flamands, St. Barts: A five-bedroom, five-bathroom villa nestled in the Caribbean. The property boasts private terraces, a fully equipped kitchen, a heated pool, and an outdoor dining area.
“Every guest deserves a seamless, stress-free vacation and this collection was developed to deliver that,” said Brian Schwimmer, CEO and co-founder of Rental Escapes. “By expanding access to purposefully designed spaces in top destinations, we’re helping more guests travel comfortably and confidently.”
