Rental Escapes Names Willie Fernandez New CMO
Luxury villa rental company Rental Escapes has appointed former Travel Leaders Group and World Travel Holdings VP Willie Fernandez as its new chief marketing officer effective immediately.

In his new role, Fernandez will be responsible for driving the company’s brand strategy and marketing, along with communicating and building relationships with its travel advisor partners and villa suppliers.

In total, Fernandez has more than three decades of brand development experience, including time at Norwegian Cruise Line and CruisePath Network along with that TLG and WTH experience.

During his time at WTH, Fernandez helped shape the vision of Villas of Disntcintions, launching the #WithYouToStay campaign that helped the company, and its advisor partners, build business during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Since 1991, I have had the privilege to work in an industry that I am so passionate about, and that really is a blessing,” said Fernandez.

“I am thrilled to join Rental Escapes’ team and could not imagine a better place to take this next step in my career, as the company stands poised for outstanding growth in the years ahead.  I look forward to making an impact on the Rental Escapes brand, elevating our awareness and providing our travel partners, and customers, with unbeatable travel experiences and benefits around the world.”
