Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes has expanded to three new Mediterranean destinations – Florence, Sardinia, and Marbella – with its recent addition of 10 new private homes.
The collection now has one villa in Florence, one in Sardinia, and six in Marbella. Villa Petrucci is a historic Florence property that just completed a five-year restoration, and Villa Marzia in Sardinia is a rare beachfront property with private shore access and uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Meanwhile, the Marbella villas are located within the gated community of Nueva Andalucía, a golf valley overlooking one of Spain’s most prestigious courses, Las Brisas Golf Club.
Rounding out the new additions are two properties in Puglia – Trullo delle Dame and Trullo dei Pumi – bringing the total count in Puglia to four. With this recent expansion, Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes now has 35 homes in 14 different destinations.

“As the portfolio evolves, our focus remains on purposeful growth; introducing new destinations that broaden our global reach while preserving the intimacy, discretion and exceptional service our guests expect,” said Philip Leighton, head of Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes. “This next phase reflects both the strength of the collection and our ambition for its continued expansion.”
The portfolio, which Mandarin Oriental formed last year, encompasses the finest villas and estates available to rent, ranging from two nights minimum to a monthly basis. They are selected based on their desirable location, design, and ability to deliver Mandarin Oriental’s level of service. Properties offer guests a dedicated concierge to craft itineraries, private chef service, daily housekeeping, and luxurious amenities.
Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes also includes properties in Los Angeles, England, Thailand, Umbria, Ibiza, Costa Brava, Mallorca, the French Riviera, Bali, and Santorini.
