Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to Make Dominican Republic Debut

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is planning its debut in the Dominican Republic with Rosewood Punta Cana.
The new resort is slated to open in 2029, located about 10 minutes away from Punta Cana Airport in the Puntacana Resort, a 15,000-acre multi-use development featuring luxury residences, resorts, retail, and recreational facilities.
“The Dominican Republic is a tropical paradise that celebrates the diversity of Caribbean culture,” said Radha Arora, president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “Long renowned for its beautiful beaches, world-class golf courses, and high-end residences and resorts, we are eager to bring Rosewood’s unique approach to the island and set a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in the region.”
Rosewood Punta Cana will feature 78 suites, including overwater villas, set on 50 acres of property, which will have eight dining venues, a fully serviced beach, indoor and outdoor events spaces, and an outdoor sports facility.
The resort will also offer Rosewood’s Explorers kid’s club and Asaya wellness concept with six spa treatment rooms, a hair and nail salon, dedicated retail space, a juice bar, an indoor swimming pool, and fitness center.
