The hotel is currently closed as construction is underway, and The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel is anticipated to debut in time for the 2026-2027 winter season in the Swiss Alps.

“Gstaad has long been a favorite destination in Europe for luxury travelers, and we are excited to have the unique opportunity to enter this exclusive market with such an exceptional property,” says Bart Carnahan, president of global business development, portfolio management, and residential at Four Seasons. “We look forward to working with our partners to bring together the very best of this legendary property with the service excellence of Four Seasons to create a world-class luxury experience.”

The Park Gstaad opened in 1910 as the mountain destination’s first-ever 5-star hotel. When it reopens as a Four Seasons, the property will feature 75 rooms and suites, including several penthouses residences.

The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel will also offer an array of restaurants and bars, a spa and fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, meetings and event spaces, a tennis court, ski and bike services, Kids for All Seasons facilities, and an ice rink in the winter.
