Intrepid Travel announced today the promotion of Anthony Considine to head of sales, North America.

Vancouver-based Considine joined Intrepid in 2024 as sales manager for tailor-made. Since joining the small group adventure tour operator, Considine has increased tailor-made sales by 66% year-over-year, which includes a record-breaking December.

As head of sales, Considine will oversee Intrepid’s sales strategy across the U.S. and Canada, focusing on strengthening trade relations and supporting revenue growth. He will relocate to Toronto and report directly to Intrepid’s Christian Wolters, the North American general manager and president of Canada.

“North America is our most important growth market,” said Wolters. “His commercial results speak for themselves, but it’s his ability to bring people together and inspire teams that will drive real growth. We’re thrilled to have him lead the charge in this critical region.”

Considine brings to the role over a decade of sales experience, including two years as corporate sales manager at hospitality company OPUS Vancouver (2022 to 2024) and four years as a sales manager for Flight Centre Travel Group (2015 to 2020).

“Intrepid is at a turning point in North America, and I’m incredibly energized to help lead this next chapter,” said Considine. “Travelers today are seeking deeper connections and more sustainable experiences, and our trade partners are uniquely positioned to deliver that. My goal is to equip our team and partners with the tools they need to thrive in this evolving market.”
