TRAVELSAVERS and NEST have named former agency owner Heather Di Pietro as the new director of business development.

Di Pietro is a respected industry veteran with several accolades to her name. The North Carolina-based director brings more than two decades of travel industry experience to the role, having built a reputation for designing high-end, personalized vacations.

Di Pietro previously served as owner and CEO of TravelSalesGroup LLC, a luxury agency specializing in concierge, group, and romance travel, and spent over 20 years affiliated with TRAVELSAVERS and NEST, where she achieved Elite status for the past five years.

In her new role as director of business development, Di Pietro will build and manage relationships with prospective agency partners that meet the networks’ criteria for affiliation. Her focus includes presenting the networks’ programs, resources, and technology platforms to agencies considering partnership.

Di Petro is a respected member of the travel advisor community. In addition to having received honors such as the the Black Pineapple Award from Antigua and Barbuda and multiple Global Piton Awards from St. Lucia, she has served on advisory boards including ALG Vacations, the Inclusive Collection by Hyatt, and The Affluent Traveler Collection.

“Heather brings a unique perspective to her role as the former owner of a NEST affiliate,” said NEST senior vice president Wayne Spector. “She grew her agency to new heights of success by drawing on her gift for connecting people. Now she’ll forge bonds with potential affiliates and show them how we can help them reach their full potential with our personalized coaching, exclusive technology and lead-generating marketing programs.”

The announcement comes as both TRAVELSAVERS and NEST continue to expand, having added 75 new agencies in 2025, representing $258 million in preferred partner sales.
