The Margot Hotel in San Diego Opens as an Outset Collection by Hilton Property

The Margot Hotel has just opened in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter, marking one of the first properties in the new Outset Collection by Hilton.
The design-first, all-suite boutique hotel brings 135 spacious, residential-style suites steps from Petco Park and the San Diego Convention Center. This is a pivotal opening for the Outset Collection, Hilton’s 25th brand, which the company announced last year.
“The Margot Hotel is a strong addition to our growing portfolio,” said Elizabeth Scruggs, brand leader of Outset Collection by Hilton. “Outset Collection was designed to reflect how today’s travelers want to experience a destination in a thoughtful, locally rooted and connected way. Located in San Diego’s Gaslamp neighborhood, The Margot delivers just that with a sense of place that is both authentic and story led.”
The hotel’s suites all have open floor plans, fully equipped kitchens, and distinct designs that include floor-to-ceiling windows bringing in natural light and downtown city views.
The property offers valet parking, a 24-hour front desk, food delivery service in partnership with Cloud 9, and a soon-to-open lobby bar. There are also pet-friendly accommodations and a fitness center, as well as eco-friendly practices throughout.
This is just the beginning for Outset Collection by Hilton, which has more than 60 hotels in various stages of the development pipeline across the U.S., from urban boutiques like The Margot Hotel to properties in adventure-driven destinations.
