Starting this fall, Delta Air Lines will connect Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with Vancouver International Airport (YVR), marking the carrier’s only nonstop service between the two cities.
Delta will operate the service twice daily on an Airbus A319 starting on Nov. 21, according to data from Cirium. It will be Delta’s only direct into Canada from Los Angeles. The airline has not flown the route since 2018.
Five other carriers already connect the two cities: Air Canada, American Airlines, Flair Airlines, United Airlines, and WestJet, which is Delta’s codeshare partner.
The route launch comes as Delta continues a broader international push out of its LAX hub, including its upcoming service to Hong Kong launching on June 6.
