Delta Air Lines has officially closed its final international Wi-Fi coverage gap, expanding its free Wi-Fi across its long-haul Asia-Pacific network.
With the Pacific routes now active, Delta offers free global Wi-Fi across its entire international network—making it the only global network carrier to do so. The service, presented in partnership with T-Mobile, is available in all cabins for SkyMiles members across trans-Pacific flights.
Just like its other offerings, Wi-Fi for the Asia-Pacific network is free for all enrolled SkyMiles members, regardless of cabin class. Non-members can enroll for free onboard or prior to departure.
Passengers can connect multiple devices to stream video, message, email, browse, and access Delta Sync, the airline’s onboard portal.
Delta currently operates nearly 1,300 Wi-Fi-equipped aircraft, representing over 95% of its total fleet. The carrier expects to achieve 100% connectivity by early 2027 as coverage is installed on remaining regional jets (Delta Connection) and its narrowbody Boeing 717 aircraft.
Additionally, new satellite Wi-Fi via its partnership with Amazon is entering service across the Americas and will boost bandwidth and support growing demand on high-traffic international routes.
