Katrin Koenig, the company’s current chief commercial officer, has been promoted to president of Delta Vacations.

Delta made the announcement in a message to its industry partners late last week.

Koenig has been with Delta Vacations since 2022 and with Delta Air Lines since 2011. Most recently as chief commercial officer, she was credited with restructuring the sales and product development teams, and aligning revenue models.

Koenig succeeds Kama Winters, who served as president for the past five years. Winters is transitioning to a new leadership role within the marketing department at Delta Air Lines.

At the same time, Dana Sample, another longtime Delta employee with more than 15 of experience at the airline, is taking over as vice president of sales for Delta Vacations. Kristen Molloy, who has been in that role since May 2019, is retiring.
